Bit of a catchup .....

Sora and S spent a little time in the garden this morning and caught up on some photos.

Agility training ....

Sora was visiting Mindy over the weekend. Mindy does doggy agility courses and Sora had a little go at seeing if she could do the weaving part of the exercise. She showed a little promise but would need a lot of practice .....

Breaking the rule ....

We decided a long time ago not to post pictures with people that could be identified, but not having anything else to post, and this being such as nice picture of Sora (and M) I decided to break the rule.

Sunday morning church walk ....

With spring coming its getting brighter in the mornings. On Sunday mornings, while M is at church, Sora gets a rural walk. This morning she walked near S's office, including by the river.

Other dogs do this, but Sora not very often.

Forgot to post this one .....

This was taken a week ago, sorry forgot to post it. Sora is highlighted in the early morning sun as she a S were walking in the forest.

Yesterday Sora went up to Rotorua to visit her cousins. On the way we stopped for lunch and Sora had a run around. Getting a photo just of her head is a bit unusual as she moves around all the time.

This morning she was at one of her favourite lakeside tracks. There are always lots of sticks to play with.

The weekend in review ....

Sora has literally tonnes of toys but sometimes she just likes to play with the remains of a long destroyed toy, or perhaps one of S's old socks.

But after a while she gets tired and heads for her bed.

So she has enough energy for the next morning.

Catching up .....

S heard the other day that someone had been checking out Sora's blog and was disappointed at not having any recent updates. Sorry about that. S has been busy and with winter its not so easy to get photos of Sora. This is meant as a bit of a catch up. Sora enjoyed the late autumn and early winter leaves round and about but they have now got and winter is really here. Sora has been getting a little wet at S's office the last couple of weeks but doesn't seem to mind too much - S thinks that is a bat strange. The other day they went for a drive and S caught Sora down by the beach in lovely sunny conditions. We'd write more more Sora is waiting for her "cup of tea", which means a chew treat while S has a real cup of tea. We'll try not to have such a long delay before our next post.

The other day Sora and S had the day to themselves. There first choice destination was unfortunately full of possum poison which isn't good for Sora if she eats any. S found somewhere else and Sora still had a good time.

Another typical Sunday .....

Today was another typical Sunday for Sora. Since daylight saving ended last weekend she has been waiting for dinner from about 4 each aftrenoon. She's waiting now......

Low tide .....

The tide was out when Sora and S were at the lake so it made swimming for Sora a bit difficult, still she had a great time.

Forest, again ....

Sora must know all the forest tracks by heart as she is there so often. Lucky dog!

Usual lake and special visitor .....

It was Sunday yesterday so Sora had her usual trip to the lake. S managed to catch her on the beach waiting for him to come down and play. Later Sora had friends visit for dinner. She especially enjoyed playing with A, though she did hassle her when she was trying to have her dinner. 

A day at work, so down the river, twice!

Sora had a day at work with S today. She got to go to the river at lunchtime and after work - a very lucky dog.

After dinner chew ...

After supper Sora usually plays with toys, with help from S & M. After a while she will get tired of playing a grab the chew from her toy box and chew for a while. Sora has lovely teeth!

We swear that Sora was a fish in an earlier life ....

To The Point ......

Sora and S seem to be heading down a lakeside track to a place called The Point quite often these days. Even on a Sunday morning in summer its not crowded. Sora tends to dash ahead and seek out all the possible spots where she might go in the lake. Unfortunately the "beach" is very rocky here and charging out chasing a stick probably isn't too good for Sora's legs so S has to be careful where she gets to swim.

When a girl is tired she can doxe anywhere she wants, provided she has her teddy with her.

Getting in the way ....

Mostly when out with a camera Sora makes it hard for you to photograph here, either by walking away when you get too close or by looking away at just the wrong time. But this morning when S was lying down trying to photograph a nice sky she kept poking her nose in. That's okay Sora!

Happy birthday Sora ...... お誕生日おめでとうございます

Today is Sora's 3rd birthday. Happy birthday Sora. She got three "candles" in her breakfast and a new special toy called "Boss" as a present. A very lucky girl!

Overnight visitor ....

Mindy is staying with Sora overnight. Before dinner they went to the beach. The wind was extraordinarily strong and waves very high. There was almost not beach to walk on.
